Livermore California Newborn Session

LIFESTYLE — NEWBORN

I FREAKIN’ LOVE BABIES! YOU GOTTA BABY? I wanna know about it!

WHEN TO BOOK?

I typically put newborn sessions on my calendar for a morning time slot 7-10 days after your due date. Newborn sessions always have the possibility to come around earlier, or later than expected so I allow for these sessions to be super flexible. Know your due date? Awesome. It's the perfect time to get you in the calendar!

HOW LONG IS A SESSION & WHAT’S INCLUDED?

2-Hour Session

  • All files included

  • Close family members allowed! (especially dogs)

  • Travel within the SF Bay Area

APPOINTMENT FLEXIBILITY

Your newborn session date can move around whenever needed. I schedule the sessions for a 2 hour time slot, which can go over if we need it. I never want to rush it, we're on the babies time! We will end up waiting for snoozes, feedings, changes.. and the list goes on. I think the most important thing for a newborn session is to be stress free, so we always just go with the flow. Say you scheduled your session for 14 days post due date but once babe is here, you’re feeling overwhelmed - we can push the date. Say you scheduled for 10 days post due date and realize you want to document the freshest baby you can - we can move your session up! I’ve photographed babies at day 1, day 5, day 60. I’ve pushed newborn sessions up to 3 months for the families comfort. It all works out. Just keep me in the loop and I will be here to accommodate!

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER BOOKING

First and foremost, we will have a blast at your photo session! After your session, I will deliver a gallery of your images to you from our proofing site. From here you will download all of your digital files, and decide on any products, announcement cards or prints for ordering.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PREPARE?

Loosely diaper your baby the morning of your session so there’s no elastic marks on their lil’ tummies or legs. Things that will help the session along are a boppy pillow (or similar), receiving blankets & swaddles. If you'd like to incorporate any outfits, props, toys, signs, special blankets or the like – please have those nearby. Be prepared to take a feeding break, or 2.. or 3… too! This session is free flowing and we will work around making you and baby the most comfortable as can be.
